Wish you all a very happy and prosperous Makar Sankranti ,today on the eve of Makar Sankranti the search giant Google surprised all us with it's new doodle.Google decorated its home page in India with flying kites and balloons.Makar Sankranti is celebrated in many parts of india to mark the transition of the sun into Makara rashi(Capricorn) on it's celestial path.

Generally, Google makes changes to the Google logo to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous artists and scientists.A group of Googlers regularly get together to decide the events and holidays that will receive doodles. The ideas for the doodles themselves are gathered from numerous sources including Googlers and the general public. The doodle selection process aims to celebrate interesting events and anniversaries that reflect Google's personality and love for innovation

when did the first doodle come?
ReplyDeleteThe concept of doodle was first born in 1998,it was made by Google to indicate their attendance at the Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert.
