The much anticipated world’s ultra low cost Tablet PC, Aakash tablet was made available for sale online on this Dec 12th. Datawind, the developers of Aakash has put up for sale about 30,000 tablets on the internet at the cost of Rs 2500 each. The fact that within 6 days all the 30,000 pieces being sold out shows how eager people are to get the tablet into their hands.
Definitely there is no other touch pad computing device or tablet available close to the price of Aakash. The company is also gonna launch an Upgarded version of Aakash, Ubislate-7+ this January loaded with great features at an excellent price of Rs. 3000 only. Along with the functionality of a mobile phone, 700MHz processor (three times that of the original tablet), a battery of 3200 maH (lasts for up to 5 hours). It comes with a headphone/mic plus integrated speaker.
